WHITE LION FOODS embarks on Environmental Adequacy Journey
WHITE LION FOODS, an industrial company specializing in the processing and preservation of fruits, vegetables, and legumes (CIIU Rev 4 – 1030), has initiated a crucial step towards environmental sustainability. Operating from our industrial plant in Sector Alegría S/N, Las Piedras district, Tambopata province, Madre de Dios department, we are actively engaged in the Environmental Adequacy and Management Programme (PAMA).
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), our PAMA aligns with the “Environmental Management Regulations of the Agricultural Sector” (D.S. No 019-2012-AG) and adheres to the “Regulations for Citizen Participation in the Evaluation, Approval, and Monitoring of Environmental Management Instruments of the Agricultural Sector” (D.S. No 018-2012-AG).
This program stands as a testament to our commitment to environmental responsibility. By identifying potential issues and effects of environmental deterioration resulting from our industrial activities, WHITE LION FOODS strives to create a greener, more sustainable future for all.
